About us
McDermott Comms is led by Lisa McDermott who has 30 years' experience working in media, communications, stakeholder engagement, community relations, politics and management.
She has worked on many complex projects to deliver integrated communications and engagement programs. She has liaised with multiple diverse stakeholders including government agencies, MPs, business leaders, engineering firms, construction crews, environmental teams, education leaders, community groups, local residents and others.
As a former journalist and political media adviser, she is also a strong writer and editor with well-tuned issues-management skills that can help to reduce project risks.
Lisa's broad experience spans multiple sectors, including in-house, contract and consulting roles. She can draw on her previous work and bring her knowledge and skills to your table.
